It’s Just Lunch is a fun, proactive approach to your personal life. As first date specialists, we arrange fun lunch dates and drinks after work for busy professionals. We began in a tiny office in Chicago in 1991 and have grown to over 100 offices worldwide. In summer 2004, we opened our first international locations in Singapore and Toronto. Many of our first dates lead to second dates and our matchmaking is responsible for thousands of marriages. We have arranged over 2 million fun first dates in our 17 years. Each month we arrange over 100,000 dates for our 60,000 members worldwide----and growing by thousands each month!—that’s a lot of lunch dates!
A Chicago woman founded It’s Just Lunch over 17 years ago after her engagement was suddenly called off. She attended her first IJL wedding after the company had been in business for just 5 months. Since then, The IJL Team has been responsible for many weddings and she still gets goose bumps when she hears about another engagement!
Since Dallas/Ft. Worth is home to several of the country's largest companies, it is a city brimming with professionals and transplants from around the globe. The primary complaint that we get from new clients is it is hard to meet like-minded people outside of the workplace because of limited time and social networks. Our system will allow you to leave the work to us. Our first date experts work with your busy schedule to coordinate convenient lunch, brunch, or drinks after work as a fun way for you to meet quality, single professionals. Each week we set up hundreds of clients on dates throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
Considering the majority of our clientele are referred, our success stands alone. We are happy to report many engagements and many more clients dating exclusively!! We were voted the best dating service in the area for 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2007 by the Dallas Observer Metropolitan Survey. Our most recent success story is about Hope and Cliff. When Cliff came in for an interview, we immediately knew who we were going to set him up with...Hope! On their date, they discovered that they were supposed to have met many years earlier! They both attended college at USC, and their parents had tried to set them up years prior, they just never ended up meeting. We were glad that we could finally bring them together after all those years!
